What a fabulous experience working with such a professional and accommodating bunch of people! Having been recommended to Tom, Michelle and the Sundale Coolum Beach Retirement team by respected retirement village specialist & local business woman Emma Plasier of Shine Retirement, I set out to create a space that was simple & classy, yet homey for this display home.

It was important for me to present the well appointed fittings and finishes of this roomy home constructed by Simon and his crew at GSG Contracting in the best possible light. To do so, I chose natural tones & textures for the furniture & complimented them with blues & greens to bring the outside in and produce a crisp but calm environment.

Lyndy Reynolds at Caloundra Curtains & Blinds bought her expertise to the party by producing some gorgeous pearly box pleated sheers which provide a soft and classy look to the living areas. We then decided on translucent roller blinds in a whisper white with a horizontal embossed stripe which opened up the already substantially large bedrooms even further, whilst providing a private and comfortable quality to the space.

All the furniture was sourced locally on the Sunshine Coast and the sensational artwork was designed specifically for the display home by talented Artist & Photographer Emma Sheldrake at Sheldrake Creative. The image in the lounge area is my favourite as it is a local spot that has been perfectly captured by Emma and reminds the home owner on a daily basis of why they live in this beautiful location.

Greg Gardener Photography & New Vision Media were appointed to capture the space in it's entirety using both still and virtual photography. Dylan Schenkeveld's powerful immersive 3D media provides a truly 'real' experience for the viewer, and his efficient and friendly manner made him a breeze to work with! Greg is a dynamic photographer and took time and care in his set ups to ensure the collateral would provide the consumer with a true look and feel of the display home and the possibilities to be explored when purchasing their own home at Sundale Coolum Beach Retirement Village.

All in all a rewarding and pleasing result!
